Second grade teacher, Gisselle Mendez, made these gorgeous teaching tools from my idea for Vocabulators. Kids can now use these delightful tools to help them find other words for Cool, Pretty, Yummy, Winter, Fall, and Big. I am always encouraged to see teachers make my teaching strategies their own. Hi Melissa! I enjoyed your workshop this summer in Jacksonville Florida. I thought of a neat idea for a vocabulator. "States of mind". Some of the words could be, mesmerized, baffled, excited, frantic, dazzled, bewildered, amazed, and so on. Little icons for inside could contain little faces or expressions.

What book should I buy to find the instructions for making vocabulators? I saw the picture and fell in love with the idea!
