With your in-services, books, and a great deal of work...My school ranked # 1 in all of our county elementary schools! Our 4.4 also beat all Jr. high's. There was only one school who ranked higher at a 4.7 and it was an advanced High School.

I read your book Oonawassee Summer to my class and they wouldn't let me stop reading. I even missed my lunch two days in a row so I could read it to them in the classroom while they ate. Figurative language was our skill os the week when I started reading your book. All students were able to pick out the figurative language choices on the holistic test and I know it was because of your use of it in the book. It was the easiest time I ever had teaching the skill.

Writing project Wow has our writing improved! We wrote letters to companies a few weeks ago and we are getting letters back!
